ECO LIFE // garden oasis

My dream of creating an enchanted green space and veggie patch is still alive and I’ve found some new inspiration. The Botanica Vaucluse is a farm-to-table restaurant that has a day spa and a beautiful expansive garden on-site. They serve seasonal produce with ingredients like lavender, thyme and lemon balm sourced directly from their gardens.

Entering through the gate, you start in the scented garden section that has a stunning display of plant varieties that smell gorgeous. One of my favourite spots was the market garden area, with designated plots of vegetables, herbs and edible flowers. Adding to the whimsical look is an old shed, iron table and timber bench. Winding paths and well designed signage let you explore this calm oasis that feels worlds away from its urban location.
